Dates for KOS Field Trips for the rest of 2024 are :-
WEDNESDAY JULY 24TH;
SUNDAY 25 AUGUST;
SUNDAY 29TH SEPTEMBER;
SUNDAY 6TH OCTOBER;
WEDNESDAY 23RD OCTOBER;
SUNDAY 3RD NOVEMEBER;
WEDNESDAY 18TH DECEMBER.
All trips begin at 8.00am and Ray O'Reily - KOS Field Trip Organiser will contact all partcipants as to exact venue. This is dependent on weather, and bird sightings close to each date. All partcipants will need transport to the venue - car sharing is encouraged.
KOS members are welcome to join any of the field trips. They provide a good chance for experienced birders to meet other enthusiasts or visit new sites and for beginners to benefit from expert guidance.

Depending on recent sightings, weather, wind direction and tide, the location of field meetings is decided two days prior to the outing. Participants can stay as long as they would like. Field Trips are always a full day.
Bring adequate clothing, boots and at times wellies. On rare occasions sun hats and sun cream! Packed lunch, flask and water are essential.
